Disney Opens Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Toy Story Land officially opened to the public recently as Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World continues its largest expansion in the theme park’s history. Guests reportedly lined up for hours to get their first taste of the land, but Buzz Lightyear, Sheriff Woody and the rest of Andy’s toys from the hit Pixar franchise will not be the new kids on the block for very long.

That’s because there’s another major addition coming to the theme park, one that promises to be bigger and even more intergalactic. While the focus this summer is on the toys, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is slated to open in late fall 2019, part of what Disney executives are calling their theme park trifecta.
